The picture is crisp and clear and the price is far below any of the "brand name" cables. Some other cables in this price range have been known to allow EM interference to degrade the signal, however this cable is shielded all the way through. Even if you aren't on a budget I would choose this cable simply for the quality. Very excellent, high quality cable. Delivers a very strong signal.
It works great.Best price around,too. It's your basic monitor cable.
Lastly, it does not have ferrites as shown in the picture. Although plugging the audio cable interestingly reduces the amount of ghosting, it is still unbearable. I don't recommend this cable with high resolution new generation LCD panels. I bought this cable to connect an HP 2159M LCD panel to a Lenovo T61. I'm experiencing high levels of ghosting.
Text is super readable, the quality is as great as looking at my laptop screen. I plug it into my mini display port to vga connector and hook it up to the tv and it works just like that. And totally worth it because the big box stores want $25 + for the same sized cable. Got this a day earlier than I expected and it works great. I use it to hook up my unibody macbook to our 46 inch lcd.
